We had a great time at the Transito Powertrade stokvel in Welkom over the weekend, putting Mamma Themba in the spotlight, sharing samples and connecting with the community. Some lucky attendees also walked away with prizes from our lucky draw!

It all comes down to granulation. When we mill our maize at Horizon Foods , we calibrate our roller mills to preserve the precise grain size. If the maize meal is milled too fine, it traps excess moisture and becomes sticky. If it’s too coarse, it won’t hold together.
