This Sunday, we’re teaming up with ThriftFest to bring a whole new treasure hunt to the Hout Bay Village Market.

Expect 15–20 new thrift stalls packed with pre-loved fashion, vintage finds, hidden gems and one-of-a-kind pieces — all alongside your favourite HBVM traders, food and Sunday vibes.

Sunshine, blue skies, hardly any wind and 60+ stalls waiting for you at the Hout Bay Village Market this Sunday - including a few brand-new traders making their HBVM debut! 🙌🌈

Come hungry, bring the family, grab the dog 🐶 and spend a few hours browsing local makers, artists, designers and small businesses, with plenty of delicious food, coffee and treats along the way. 🌮🍔☕🥐🛍️

And yes, we're pretty chuffed to once again be included in Inside Guide's 15 Best Markets in Cape Town! ❤️ The latest 2026 guide describes HBVM as a relaxed Sunday community market with handmade goods, food and those rather spectacular Hout Bay mountain views.

🏃 What about the Chapman's Peak Half Marathon? No problem. The race starts bright and early at 6:30am and has a 10am cut-off, just as the market gets underway. Chapman's Peak Drive reopens at 10am, and the other Hout Bay roads used by runners are not officially closed to traffic.
