Maggie Scratcher is a family run farm producing free range and barn eggs and organic fertiliser We produce good quality eggs from happy hens.

Maggie Scratcher focuses on sustainable environmentally friendly production. The Barn and Free Range eggs are produced by hens that are happy, healthy and given plenty of space. The waste and litter from these hens, as well as organic waste produced on the farm, are turned into fertilizer using a specialized "turn around" system.

As autumn says farewell and the leaves fall, the air grows colder and we move indoors. If you can’t go out, take a leaf out of our book this winter — bring the outside in! We rake up fallen leaves, which can pose a fire risk if left lying, and give them to our pullets and laying hens for extra stimulation and fun!
