Agricultural and Industrial Marketing

Agricultural and Industrial Marketing We are all about Farmer Development AIM has also successfully traded across Africa and the Middle East. Then there is the constant threat of not getting paid.

The Agricultural & Industrial Marketing Committee was formed in 1998 within the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture of South Africa to assist farmers and agribusinesses to export & trade successfully. Anton Scheepers ran the unit over the next 3 years and assisted many farmers, agribusinesses and also manufacturing companies to adapt in time and to not only save their farms/businesses but to flourish in the post democracy environment in South Africa. Scheepers left the Dept as Head of Exports & Marketing in May 2000 and privatised the unit to what it is today a small and yet very specialised unit called the Agricultural & Industrial Marketing Company (AIM). Since 2000 AIM has assisted governments, development agencies, organised agriculture, farmers, agribusinesses, small manufacturers and even Presidents to import & export successfully. AIM has specifically evolved to assist you the farmer, agribusiness & manufacturer to actually export. Over the years AIM has successfully assisted many individuals/farmers/groupings to export or expand their exports & in some cases import. AIM appreciates your lack of export experience & capacity. People do not know where to export to & require funding for such transactions? AIM also actively trades mainly agricultural products and equipment internationally. The company imports and exports currently across the globe

At AIM we have developed solutions that will assist anyone with the desire to export, to do so. You do not have to be intimidated by the process there are ways to trade profitably and yet safely. AIM APPROACH

AIM understands the fears & concerns of the modern farmer/grower/manufacturer & has over the years developed systems & solutions specifically designed to assist the Small Medium Enterprise. AIM understands that most farmers & many manufacturers do not know much about exports & don’t export because of the horror stories that do the rounds of non payment of products, containers stuck in ports & airports, farms lost etc. Others simply don’t export because they fear to gear-up for exports & are quite rightly not prepared to invest in exports without firm agreements in place & then there is the issue of financing such production. AIM’s approach is to introduce practical & easy to use systems and software to its clients. AIM does not believe in the sophisticated approach & prefers to communicate as practicably as possible appreciating the unenviable environment that the “would be” exporter has to survive in. Our specific client base is mainly in Southern Africa, but we have assisted businesses both small & large to trade from anywhere on the continent of Africa. Of late AIM has assisted numerous international companies (outside of Africa) to find markets in Southern Africa, that is Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and off course South Africa. The company enjoys extensive linkages in this region.
