Many times I will just visit a local market to check the prices of farm products.

The discovery is just shocking.

Some items farmers sell for about $1 locally can sell for over $20 in the international market once they are properly processed, packaged, and exported.

That’s where the real money is.

Sadly, farmers like Adamu do the hardest work but earn the least, while middlemen take most of the profit.

This is why I am passionate about teaching farmers and entrepreneurs how to add value and export.

When we export the finished product instead of the raw material, we create jobs, wealth, and stronger communities.

Africa is rich in resources.
