Incorporated in 1997 by Tom Brooks. Opened JHB first Water Bar in Cresta in 1999. This was a new concept in South Africa and proved very successful. The Easy Fill water system was the culmination of the Water Bar ideas. A dispenser with a filter bottle that didn’t have to be used with bought water. Just using tap water and topping up on an “as required” basis without having to remove the bottle. T

he first Classic branded coolers were imported in 2005 and were sold with a Filter bottle with double cartridge. Tom opted not to rent and sell water as he believed that the cooler and filter bottle system were far more user friendly, safer and a more cost effective way of getting people to use pure water.
