William Morris had a habit of finding beauty in the ordinary. A trailing vine, a cluster of blossoms, a leaf unfurling. The natural world was his greatest source of inspiration, and flowers and foliage became some of the most recognisable elements of his work.
Perhaps that is what makes ‘Walthamstow’ such a fitting design for Spring Day in the Southern Hemisphere. Its curling leaves and delicate flowers echo the season outside: the first signs of growth, the return of colour, and all the small details that make spring feel like a new beginning.
Here’s to noticing a little more of what’s growing around us. How are you spending your Spring Day?
