Here is a fun hack that actually works.
We are at stage 6 so our power can be off for 4 or more hours at a time. This is a great way to keep your freezer and fridge cool.
1. Fill some plastic bottles with water ( I used old water and coke bottles)
2. Place them in your freezer to freeze.
3. When the power goes off place two or more frozen bottles in your fridge and keeps the door closed till load shedding is over.
4. Keep one or two in your freezer to keep your freezer cool.
When the power returns you can just place your bottles back in the freezer.
