LEEUPOORT TANK — PN231
Tank is daardie bul.
Leeupoort Tank.

“Why are you selling him now?”
This year marks my 20th year on the farm and my 20th auction. A milestone like this deserves something exceptional—but that does not make saying goodbye any easier.
That is why Tank.
He has the body, balance and presence that make you stop and take notice. Behind him are generations of breeding, with cows such as Wibke, Luise, Brittess, Betsie and Betombi in his pedigree. Cows that have made their mark and whose influence continues through the generations.
But the greatest reason for my confidence in Tank is already here on the farm: his progeny. He breeds outstanding heifers and bulls. We have seen what he passes on, how his influence carries through and the value he can add to a herd.
That is precisely why offering him is so difficult. You do not easily sell a bull you would have preferred to keep yourself. But a 20th auction also calls for an offering with meaning—something that represents what we have bred and worked towards as Leeupoort Simmentalers.
Tank is that bull.
We say goodbye to him with pride, but also with the knowledge that his next chapter will be written elsewhere. That someone else can build with him, just as we have built with him.
We are offering a bull who represents what we breed—and with whom someone else can continue to build.
The body. The pedigree. The progeny.
Leeupoort Tank
