🎉 We are proud to announce that Louw van Reenen, Chairman of Beefmaster Group, has been appointed to the Business For South Africa (B4SA), a government business partnership, where he will represent the interests of South Africa's agricultural industry, together with other industry leaders.

Agriculture has been identified as a key growth driver, with the potential to attract investment, boost production, and create jobs across the country. Through this partnership, government and business are working together to accelerate economic growth and unlock new opportunities for South Africans.

The recently launched Phase 3 builds on the strong foundation laid by earlier phases and aims to strengthen confidence, drive investment, and help create one million additional jobs by 2030.

“I am confident about the partnership because it will unlock the expertise, skills and capacity need for growth in our economy. There are significant opportunities that can come from it for many industries – including beef – even if some of those opportunities may take time to materialise,” says Louw.

We congratulate Louw and wish him every success as he works alongside industry leaders and government to help shape a stronger future for South Africa.

With Heritage Month recently in the spotlight and South Africans reflecting on the traditions, innovations and resources that make the nation unique, it's the perfect time to discuss the cattle breeds that have become part of our agricultural heritage.
