🥉🔥 WE CAME 3RD! AND WHAT A BILTONG ADVENTURE IT WAS! 🔥🥉

From our little corner of the Lowveld to the Safari Biltong Championship — we are incredibly proud to have walked away with 3rd place! 🏆🇿🇦

But honestly… it’s about SO much more than the placing! ❤️

It’s about the friendly competition, sharing our passion, meeting amazing people and making new friends in the industry. 🤝🥩

HOW DID THE JUDGING WORK?

Fairness and impartiality were at the heart of the competition.
Each of the 50 participants received a Safari bucket with a unique number, in which their biltong was prepared. The judges evaluated each entry solely by its number, without knowing the identity of the participant behind it.
From the original 50 entries, the Top 10 were selected. These finalists were then given new numbers and their biltong was judged anonymously for a second time.
This double-blind numbering system ensured that every entry was judged fairly, objectively and solely on the quality of the biltong — with no names, businesses or identities influencing the results.

Safari Biltong Champion — where quality speaks for itself!
