Home late on a Friday? We're open until 𝟴𝗽𝗺 tonight. 🕗

The taxi's slow, the week has been long, and by the time you're nearly home it feels too late to start a shop. It isn't. The SUPERSPAR Daku doors stay open until eight, so there's still time for the bread, the milk and something for supper.

If you've always rushed to beat seven o'clock, there's a whole extra hour.

World Food Day. Name the Kwazakhele dish the world is missing. 🌍

It's 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟲 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿, and the rest of the world has been living on pizza, sushi and pasta as if that were the whole menu. Nobody ever told them what comes out of the pots in Kwazakhele.

So here's the challenge: 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 to sell it to somebody who has never tasted it. A few to start the argument:

Umngqusho. Samp and beans, cooked slow until it's creamy, and even better the next day.
Amagwinya. Golden outside, soft inside, and gone before they've cooled.
Umphokoqo. Crumbly pap with cold amasi poured over the top.
Chakalaka. The spoonful that wakes up any plate.

So, Kwazakhele: which dish are we sending to the world's table? One of these, or one we haven't named? 🍽️
