Jacek (), son of the late and famed vintage bicycle enthusiast and .cc stalwart, Luciano Berruti (), contacted us a few days ago to find out how Poppie was and asked if there was anything he could do to help her during this difficult time. We told him that she was well, but of course life for her is tough with having to close her little business during lockdown. Despite how hard Covid-19 has hit Italy, where Jacek and his family live, he still thought of Poppie. So thank you Jacek, for your open, giving spirit and continuing on the legacy of your father. And thank you for helping Poppie during this trying time. We asked Jacek if we could post about his donation to Poppie; this was his response: ‘Feel free to post whatever you like, but please consider that we just do what we feel... Nothing else! 😊
I will always thank you and Poppie for the message you're sharing around the world related to the life she spent for family, for "others". She's an example, a mentor for me.
