Together with The Swartland Wine & Olive Route we're heading to Saldanha.
Just like the gang in Orkney Snork Nie (die movie!) - Ons gaan see toe!
This year, for our annual first weekend of November gathering, we're heading to the West Coast - to celebrate at the very edge of the appellation.
Saldanha, aka Saldanha Bay, with its situation as a natural sheltered harbour, has one of the largest exporting ports of ore in the whole of Africa - but besides its industrial heart the town also boasts the largest oyster and mussel crops in SA. So expect seafood, sunshine and a whole lot of wine as we take the wine route to the bay.
More information and details will be announced soon, but let it be known that we're getting serious and we're planning an all day programme to showcase the Swartland's Evolution... watch this space!
