Temperature swings are one of the leading causes of stress in broiler flocks. Stressed birds eat less. Grow slower. Get sick faster. And in a sector already navigating active bird flu risks — that is a conversation every poultry farmer needs to be having right now.

3 things every poultry farmer should do this week:

🐔 Check your ventilation systems — cold nights followed by warm days create dangerous respiratory conditions for your flock

Yesterday, South Africa announced R889 billion in confirmed new investment at the 6th SA Investment Conference. 81 projects. 9 provinces. 22 source markets. 230,000+ permanent jobs. And President Ramaphosa named agriculture and agro-processing as priority sectors — explicitly calling them "ripe for investment."

This is exactly what Aunera Farm has always believed. South African agriculture is not just a sector. It is a national opportunity. One that creates jobs, feeds communities and builds generational wealth.
