Barnlab Feed - Midvaal Advanced animal nutritional solutions in order to achieve increased “Return on Feed Investment” for you our customer is our main focus.

Unique technologies are developed through in-house intellectual property to benefit and differentiate Barnlab’s business from other feed suppliers. One of those is the enhancement of feed protein ingredients that add significant value to these ingredients at relatively low costs when they are used in ruminant feeds. This benefits Barnlab’s business in that it has particular high value given the sc

arcity and high cost of fish meal as well as the banning of animal protein sources. A manufacturing plant was first built in the Cape Town harbour region to manufacture these products and also make them available to other feed suppliers as it is run as an independent company with different shareholding. The plant has now been moved to the Barnlab site in Vereeniging due to the high demand and request for this product in the Gauteng region and since soya oilcake products are freely available in this region, reducing the cost of transport to customers. Having this and other unique innovative technologies available in-house enhances Barnlab’s competitiveness on its ruminant and monogastric feed range.
