Is a slightly pink Pork chop safe to eat? ​
​
Yes, provided it has reached the correct internal temperature.​
​
For a pork chop that is safe, tender and juicy:​
🔥 Cook it to an internal temperature of 63°C​
⏱️ Remove it from the heat and allow it to rest for at least three minutes​
🌡️ Check the thickest part with a meat thermometer, avoiding the bone​
​
Colour alone is not a reliable way to judge whether Pork is properly cooked. A safely cooked pork chop may still have a slight blush of pink in the centre.​
