Method
-Heat oil in your potjie pot over low coals.
-Brown the meat, then add the onion and garlic until softened.
-Stir in the tomato, herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper.
-Add the stock, cover, and simmer for about 1 hour.
-Layer the vegetables on top (don't stir).
-Cook for another 1–2 hours, adding a little stock if needed.
-Taste, adjust seasoning, and serve.

Potjie Tips
🔥 Cook low and slow.
🥕 Don't stir after adding the vegetables.
🪵 Use hot coals, not open flames.
😋 The longer it cooks, the better the flavour.
