Dates: 5 & 6 Nov 2026 and 18 & 19 Nov 2026
Location: Beskuitfontein farm, Middelburg, Eastern Cape

On-farm course with exposure to:
🐑 Intensive lambing (mating, lambing, nutrition, animal husbandry, infra-structure and economic considerations).
📲 Traceability on the farm (tagging, weighing, moving, reporting).
🌱 Grazing systems including watering systems, fencing infrastructure and paddock design.
🌍 Grazing management practices to increase carbon sequestration.

Presented by Stefan and Yolandi Erasmus. They combine generations of farming experience with scientific expertise. Stefan, a 4th-generation farmer and former Agri EC Young Farmer of the Year, has extensive experience in innovative, long-term sustainable farming. Yolandi is an experienced plant ecologist with practical expertise in farm traceability, data management and using data to support informed decisions. Together, they are passionate about sustainable agriculture and restoring and improving Karoo ecosystems.
