Controlled Irrigation was established in July 1968 as a design and installation operation and has since been responsible for a large portion of the major irrigation design and installations in South Africa but have since gone from a construction entity to a design and supply entity. inBird Golf ,which we import from the U.S.A. We also secured the Plimat agency,aswell as the SAB Agency which is involved in PVC, Compression and Electro-fusion fittings. Controlled Irrigation is also an Agent for Microjet, which incorporates the innovative full flow pipe fitting, utilized by the majority of Turf irrigation installers in this country – the Microjet Micro-sprayer and associated equipment, and the Emjay nylon insert fittings. Controlled Irrigation cc also distributes the Grundfos range of centrifugal and submersible pumps. The Controlled Irrigation design team consists on of 18 certificated members of the L.I.A (Landscape irrigation association), 6 of our members have also completed the senior certificate namely the commercial certificate. Two of the team also being a fellow of the S.A.I.I (South-African Irrigation Institute). These qualifications, along with the many years of experience in the construction field and 7 branches country wide,place the Company in a position to offer excellent service to its clients. The design team is available for design and consultation on projects in the Turf Irrigation field and provides design expertise and construction advice to irrigation contractors.
