The valley is teeming with life at the moment.

More movement, more activity, and plenty of visitors in front of the camera this week — a reminder of just how much happens in the bush when nobody is watching.

One of those weeks where every camera seems to have something worth sharing 👀

🌙 Something a Little Different This Week at Zebedee Game Farm - African Civets 🐾

These shy, nocturnal animals are some of our most regular nighttime visitors, usually moving quietly through the bush after dark. One of our cameras even caught two civets together 👀

African civets are typically solitary animals, so seeing a pair together is always a special sight.

The bush truly comes alive after sunset 🐾

New Genetics on the Ground at Zebedee Game Farm 🌿

A great sight this week — a couple of our new black-faced impala rams settling in nicely.

We’re putting a lot of focus into strengthening and diversifying genetics on the farm in preparation for the 2027 season, and it’s always rewarding to see animals adapt well to their new surroundings.

This is just the beginning of a bigger journey — more species to come.

Do you believe monsters exist? 👀

Because we might have just found two…

This week’s trail cam footage caught two absolute monster kudu bulls moving with a herd of kudu cows — heavy, wide, and in incredible condition. The kind that make you stop and watch twice.

Moments like this are what make the bush so special — you never know what’s going to step into frame next.

Back in the Valley at Zebedee Game Farm 🌿

Some familiar faces back on camera this week 👀

A few of our big kudu bulls have moved back down into the valley and are spending time amongst the cows again. Always great to see these bulls in such good condition and active in the herd.

The bush is always changing — and so are the movements.

Our Team working hard on receiving new game at Zebedee Game Farm 🦌🌿

A big moment on the farm this week — new impala delivered and settling in.

We’re continuously working on improving genetics and building strong, healthy game numbers, and these new arrivals are just the beginning. Some seriously impressive, big-bodied rams in this group 🦌

For now, they’re spending time in our game camps to settle in before being released into the veld. This is part of a bigger, long-term project we’re working on this year across multiple species.

Steady progress, one step at a time - stay tuned for more game releases 🌿🐾

🌙 Night Shift at Zebedee Game Farm 🐾

While the farm sleeps, the bulls are on the move.

This week’s night cams captured two impressive kudu bulls, three young kudu bulls moving together, a blue wildebeest bull scratching and marking his tree, a young waterbuck bull stopping by the lick, and a giraffe bull passing through in the dark.

A different side of Zebedee — quiet, wild, and unfolding under the cover of night.
