With roots in Stellenbosch, these two labels celebrate family heritage, unique vineyards, and a love for doing things a little differently.

🍷 PINOTAGE MONTH IS HERE 🇿🇦

October is Pinotage Month, so naturally our W**es of the Week are all about South Africa’s very own grape. ❤️

This week we’re exploring Pinotage in a few different forms - from classic reds and a delicate rosé to something a little more unexpected… sparkling Pinotage! 🥂

And there’s an extra reason to celebrate this weekend:
Saturday 10 October is International Pinotage Day! 🍇🇿🇦

We’ll have tastings at The W**e Cellar Nottingham Road on Saturday, including Jasper Raats Skebenga - a rather interesting blend of Pinot Noir, Cinsault and Pinotage, bringing together Pinotage and the grapes it came from.

Pop in, taste with us, discover something new and raise a glass to one of South Africa’s most iconic grapes. 🍷

Weekend in the Midlands? 🍷🌿

Come and spend a little time with us at The W**e Cellar - Rosetta, open from 10am all weekend.
On Saturday, settle in for a meal from Dicot Lazy Days, a glass of w**e and some proper Rosetta country atmosphere. 🍷🍴

While you’re here, have a wander through Pandora’s Emporium - a treasure trove of imported vintage clothing, books, gifts and interesting finds.
You never quite know what you’re going to leave with!

And over at The W**e Cellar - Nottingham Road, we’ll have a few bottles open for tasting throughout the weekend, so pop in, say hello and discover something new. 🥂

What a first week! 🍷

A huge thank you to everyone who popped in to say hello, tasted a few w**es, browsed the shelves, and helped make our opening week in Nottingham Road such a special one. We’ve loved seeing you and finally getting to share our new little space with you.

And now that we’re settling in… meet Margie’s W**es of the Week 🍇

🇿🇦 HERITAGE DAY AT THE W**E CELLAR 🍷

What better way to celebrate Heritage Day than with good food, good company and, of course, South African w**e?

Join us tomorrow in Nottingham Road for a Zandvliet tasting, featuring My Best Friend Red, My Best Friend White, Pocket Power Shiraz and Zandvliet Chardonnay.

Feeling peckish? Our lovely neighbours Relish Deli will be putting together South African platters to enjoy alongside your w**e - because a tasting is always better with something delicious to share. 🧀🍷

And the celebrations don’t end tomorrow!

We’ll have w**e tastings throughout the weekend at Nottingham Road, with more South African w**es to discover.

WE'RE OPEN! 🍷

After months of planning, sourcing, unpacking, arranging, rearranging… and tasting lots of w**e, the doors to The W**e Cellar, Nottingham Road are finally open.
We've created a w**e shop with a slightly different focus — South African w**es beyond the usual.

Discover unusual varietals, independent producers, special bottles and w**es you won't find on the shelves of your everyday bottle store.
Whether you know exactly what you're looking for, or you'd like us to introduce you to something new, come in and explore.

And don't forget our roots… 🍷

The original W**e Cellar in Rosetta remains open Friday–Sunday, with w**e, cheese platters and that relaxed country experience we love. We're also looking forward to bringing w**e tastings, dinners and more back to the vineyards as we grow.

As we get ready to open The W**e Cellar in Nottingham Road Tomorrow, we don't want you to forget about everything else waiting for you at The W**e Cellar in Rosetta.

🍷 Our Rosetta branch will continue to be open Friday–Sunday, where you can enjoy w**e and cheese platters in the beautiful Midlands countryside.

We're also looking forward to bringing w**e tastings and special dinners back to the experience as we work towards reopening the vineyards.
