It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear friend Gerhard Shacks.
A warm, dedicated man who brought joy to so many through his craft, Gerhard will be remembered for the care and pride he poured into every loaf he baked. His hands created bread that nourished both body and community, and his presence filled the bakery with quiet kindness and good humour.
Those who knew him will miss his gentle smile, his steady work ethic, and the way he shared the simple pleasure of freshly baked bread.
We hold his memory close and extend our deepest sympathy to his family and all who loved him.
Rest in peace, Gerhard.
