***New Tap Alert****
A few weeks ago, we did a thing with The Biggest Little Beer Shop. We brewed a pretty, juicy, hoppy Hazy Double IPA. Today it is ready and on tap here and at the Biggest Little Beer Shop in Willowbridge.
It is also available in limited quantities in cans, to enjoy at home.
Double Vision, DIPA. 8lsh% 33IBU’s.
Packed with Ekuanot, Galaxy, Krush and Nelson Sauvin hops.
This one will not last long.

My fairly knowledgeable friend has been pretty busy recently, organising a couple of events in Cape Town, so we have fallen a little behind in documenting our journey through some lesser available hop varietals, in a single hop experiment.

When it rains it pours
4 new taps
1. Deep water stout in the cask. On hand pull.
5.7% roasty and just right for these winter days.

2. Quiver double. Hazy ipa. 7.4% 30 ibis, very fragrant and drinkable

3. Tokoloshe009. Pink experimental hops.
6.2% 40 ibus. Creamy, smooth, honey and orange notes.

4. Fishface Ipa. 6.2%. 40 ibus
Born out of the tokoloshe program. Anchovy, Riwaka, Motueka and experimental pink hops. Make a wonderful blend of honey, citrus and stone fruit.

Deep Water Stout. 5.7%, roasty comforting.
Stout version of our old porter recipe.

With winter on its way, it is time to start breaking out the dark beers.
Today we are brewing Black Water, a big Imperial stout, that will spend some time in a whisky barrel.
101 Ibu's 12ish% .

This one may be ready for the Capital Craft Beer Festival

****New Taps alert****
Minority West Coast IPA
A big, crisp, aromatic Ipa.
6.6% ABV, 85 IBU's
Generously hopped at 13g/L with 2025 Flex, Experimental Pink, Krush, Mosaic and Nectaron hops.
This one looks pretty and the aroma pops. Fruity, resinous delicious.

Tokoloshe-005 - Citra IPA. 6.3%Abv, 43 IBU's.
This is the next edition of our single hop experimental series.
Hopped at 10g/L with December 2025 Citra from the Yakima Valley.
A very solid, resinous, citrussey, very drinkable flavour.
As before, this one blends very nicely with the 2 previous Tokoloshe's.
