DIY Tip: Mulch = Your Garden’s Best Friend 🌱

Add a layer of mulch around your plants to keep your garden healthier with less effort. Mulch helps hold moisture, reduce weeds, and protect the soil from heat and wind.

Quick guide:
✅ Use dry grass, straw, leaves, or compost
✅ Keep mulch 3–5 cm thick
✅ Leave a small gap around the stem (don’t pile it against the plant)
✅ Top up as it breaks down

It’s one of the easiest ways to get stronger growth with less watering.

Strong flow moved down the river near our farm after upstream water levels increased. Moments like these remind us why good drainage, soil structure, and careful field prep matter so much.
