Al wat jy moet doen is om te kom stap of hardloop. Dis al!❤️ Met ons 3de Josty Trail Run gaan ons groot. In die Lategansvlei net buite Oudtshoorn doen ons dinge anders. Ons gaan groter ELKE keer. Ons PRYSE IS GROTER AS VANTEVORE! Ons musiek vir die dag gaan super lekker wees. Die 5km draf of loop gaan groot pret wees as jy jou innerlike VOLSTRUIS na vore bring. Kom wen R1000 net om prettig te wees en lyk! Kom hardloop vir jou GROOT GELD los! HIERDIE GAAN N DAG WEES VIR DIE BOEKE.

Waterblommietjies has a very unique flavour and is only available in July, August and September in South Africa. You can clean it and then freeze it for a year. It is however a very big job to clean it properly. You have to break open the flower to make sure all living things are washed out and also to remove the grass.

We had quite a bit of new additions to our chicken family during the last few weeks.

One of the chicks had some difficulty walking, due to one of its legs being a bit disabled. We gave the chick some extra loving care and tried to adjust the leg by temporarily putting a bandage strap on the leg.

I am relieved to report that the chick has joined its family outside and is running around the coup happily.

In our community, we like to take care of each other. So, when we came to hear that one of our community members have fallen very ill, we though it a nice gesture to help out with some prepared food. We made some nice warm stew and healthy chicken soup along with some freshly baked farm style bread. Hope you get well soon neighbour.

Yet another baking masterpiece created in the farm kitchen!
It was quite the challenge to get this beautiful cake to its final destination IN ONE PIECE!😅 Vreda had to hold it steady on her lap, while making the 17km trip into town, driving mostly gravel road!
I am glad to report that the cake, along with some other catering goodies, made it safely to their eagerly awaiting consumers. 😁

It is time for the yearly KKNK. Had to get the cottage ready for one of the artist that came to sing. Will ceep renting it out until our volunteers arive. Best spot on the farm.
