I have been baking celebration cakes in Oudtshoorn, the heart of the Little Karoo since 2008. It is my hobby and my passion and I work alone to ensure that I deliver a good quality product. I am also a member of the South African Cake Decorators Guild. I attended a Knightsbridge PME Teaching Seminar in Durban in 2014.

Hi everyone. Renés Cakes Oudtshoorn is now closed. We will be moving to our new home in the Retirement Village tomorrow and are looking forward to the next chapter in our lives.

Unfortunately my health issues are persisting but are being dealt with and in good hands.

I really miss doing cakes but enjoyed the times when I was able to make cakes for your special occasions. Thanks again for all the support over the years. Keep well and be blessed. René

Hi everyone. It is with a very sore heart that I inform you that I will be closing the cake business down due to ever increasing health issues.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your continuous support and understanding over the years.

I am going to miss doing cakes but will be starting a less taxing business making cupcake wrappers and hopefully cardstock cake toppers.
