A successful harvest in a brand-new winery, what an adventure. Daunting at times, but incredibly rewarding.

Yesterday, I dropped Aurelien off at the airport as he headed back to France after two months of working in the cellar with me.

Thanks for all the early morning coffees, Friday braais, and for always prioritising cleaning the braai before cleaning the cellar. Until next year, mi hermano.

The last of the Cinsault is in! We’ve been getting some incredible fruit from around the Boland, and now the real work begins—fermenting with small percentages of whole bunches in concrete and stainless steel.

Time to facilitate the natural process and turn this juice into great wine. 🍇
