We’ve had our hands full in the best possible way, with more than 500 kids joining the Fairview goat herd this kidding season.

Our little ones stay with their mothers, who raise and feed them from the start. It’s an important part of how we care for our herd and give them a strong, healthy beginning.

One of those special times on the farm that’s always a joy to witness.

In Sardinia, sheep’s milk Pecorino and Cannonau w**e have been enjoyed for generations as part of a way of life built around simple food, moderation and taking time to enjoy it.

Our version of that story starts a little closer to home. Handcrafted in small batches in McGregor, our sheep’s milk Pecorino is naturally nutrient dense, with protein, calcium and wholesome fats. Grate it over pasta, shave it into salads, add it to a cheeseboard or enjoy it with Fairview Grenache Noir, the same grape known as Cannonau in Sardinia.

Perhaps that’s the real secret to balance. Choosing food that nourishes, making room for the things you love and enjoying both well.
