The experience of working in the barrel and wine industry for seven generations helps us to see to the needs of our clients in an efficient way. We are the South – African suppliers of the full range of wine barrels and wooden tanks from Tonnellerie Nadalie and Marsannay. A wide range of barrel services, including repair work, washing, shaving and treatment of barrels are available. B

arrel replacement products in both French and American oak are locally seasoned and toasted to the client’s specifications. Wine processing machinery, pumps, chemicals, barrel stacking systems further compliments our wine barrel supplies and services. We have an attractive range of miniature wine casks, flower- tubs and barrel furniture.

A great afternoon tasting through wines matured in Sirio Amphoras, CLC concrete, Mastro Bottaio foudres, Nadalie & Marsannay barrels and oak alternatives, and exploring the uniqlue influence each can have on a wine.

Carlo hard at work for a new exciting project:

Where we are implementing Yakisugi, a traditional Japanese wood-preservation technique where the surface of the wood is carefully charred to create a deep black finish.

Originally used to protect timber against weather, insects, and decay, the technique also gives the wood a striking, natural texture.

We are using this method on the outside of selected wine barrels to achieve a bold black finish while still keeping the character of the wood visible.
