From the guava trees alongside our vineyards comes Guava Mampoer,a small-batch South African spirit made entirely on the farm.
Ripe guavas are pressed, fermented and double-distilled in copper pot stills, creating a bold, dry spirit with natural guava character, peppery notes and subtle hints of peach.
Bottled at 50% ABV without ageing or added flavouring, the spirit captures the character of the fruit and the place it comes from.
From orchard to still, every part of the process remains rooted at Dekkersvlei, with the remaining guava pulp composted and returned to the farm.
