Ok, so after getting our samoosa order out & cooking our Friday meal, my plan for a hot cup of tea and reading my book didn't exactly work out.

One of my very good customers who ordered our meal also wanted naan, so I did end up making garlic butter naan and while doing that, I got a last minute platter request around 1.30pm to collect at 6pm this evening.

I'm definitely not complaining though, like I said, it's what keeps us going so I'm always grateful💚

Plus I work best under pressure...hubby doesn't think so though.

I managed to put something together, first the spread, then the assembly, then the garnish then Platters Up!

On another note, the weather's not looking great tomorrow which means nobody wants to leave their house, including me, so I've decided to close the shop tomorrow.

Our Friday so far...

Just done cooking, Boneless Chicken Curry served with rice and salad is available now for R75.

Chicken samoosa order for a birthday party, collected just after 10am this morning, so all done & dusted.

Now, I'm contemplating making Naan, or just reading my book with a hot cup of tea, cos I'm feeling just a bit lazy with this weather 🤔

Just got done cooking butter chicken & rice for my bachelor customer. He's gonna freeze some of it and heat & eat whenever he wants to🙂

Then on Monday we did samoosas & spring rolls for another customer's son, so she can air-fry for his lunch box.

Then Friday we have an order for chicken samoosas for a little cutie pies birthday 🎂

This is what we're all about...trying to make life just a little bit easier for you...and it keeps us going.

I literally have to hype myself up just to get out of bed in this weather, and after I count till 60 ( as in seconds) atleast 3 or 4 times, I finally drag myself out of bed🌨

But I definitely feel like I can do so much more when it's colder, the heat just makes me lethargic & lazy.

This is what I got up to today, after making some cheese & corn & chicken mushroom samoosas.

Lemon Pickle & Puri Patha ( both Vegan), both orders from customers💛💚💙

I'm off to cook chicken chutney to go with my puris for dinner tonight.
