How it works
Auction Bids
The rules are simple, bid on an item (or 2 or 3) that you like in the comments of the piece in rand value. Each item is listed with an initial starting price or 'swop', and you add your ‘bid’ in the comments section.

Bids MUST be placed within the main body of the comments for all other bidders to see.

Anonymous bids are most welcome, please Inbox our page to submit your bid.

Bids made as a ‘reply’ to other comments, answered questions, or pictures within the comments will be void, leaving the last high bid in the main body as the winning bid.
Your highest bid is the price you buy the item for.

WINNING BID
The highest ‘bid’ will be accepted, provided it meets the reserve price.
All prices quoted excludes postage and delivery fees.
At the close of the event the winning bid will be announced with the word ‘SOLD’.
And the designer or foodie will contact you regarding payment and delivery

Calling all Art fans!
This coming weekend is your chance to bid on art all weekend long from various artists who are a part of the Locally Yours Market
How to bid:
Each art piece or design will have a ‘reserve price’ which is the minimum bid, should this value not be received the item will not be sold.
The rules are simple, bid on a piece of art that you like in the 'comments' of the piece in rand value. Each artist will offer the initial starting price, and let the fun begin!

Bids MUST be placed within the main body of the comments for all other bidders to see. Bids made as a ‘reply’ to other comments, answered questions, or pictures within the comments will be void, leaving the last high bid in the main body as the winning bid.
Your highest bid is the price you buy the item for, even if you outbid yourself.

TO CLARIFY: If the high bid is R500, and you bid R505, and the auction ends with no more bids, you win at R505. Bid Retraction is not allowed. You bid, you buy. A simple and fun way to own some new art and support artists. Please note that the price does not include delivery or courier fees.
