Many streets in Ikageng are dark at night due to broken or non-functioning street lights. This creates safety and security concerns for residents, pedestrians, and motorists.

❌ Dark streets increase the risk of crime.❌ Poor visibility puts road users in danger.❌ Community members feel unsafe walking at night.

I’ve spoken to the family directly and it’s confirmed — they urgently need food to prepare for Vuzi’s burial.

Vuzi will be laid to rest this coming Saturday. The family is asking for groceries by tomorrow so they can cook for those who will come to support.

Most needed: Samp, Vegetables, Ting, Meat, and other groceries.

Residents of Ikageng please note:
The Apollo street lights near BA Seobi Secondary School ext 7 have been stolen.

This leaves learners and community members walking in complete darkness, especially in the evenings. It’s very unsafe.

We urge *JB Marks Municipality* to attend to this matter urgently.
We also ask residents to report any suspicious activity to SAPS Ikageng: 018 381 0600

Let’s protect our infrastructure and keep our children safe.
