🥔 Classic Seasoned Wedges

Ingredients

* 4 large potatoes, cut into wedges
* 2 tbsp olive oil
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* 1 tsp paprika
* 1 tsp dried oregano
* 1 tsp salt
* ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
2. Toss potato wedges with olive oil and seasonings.
3. Arrange on a baking tray in a single layer.
4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway through.
5. Serve hot and crispy.

🍅 Classic Ketchup Dip

Ingredients

* ½ cup ketchup
* 1 tsp vinegar
* ½ tsp sugar

Instructions
Mix all ingredients until smooth.

🧄 Garlic Parmesan Wedges

Ingredients

* 4 large potatoes, cut into wedges
* 2 tbsp olive oil
* 3 cloves garlic, minced
* ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 1 tsp dried parsley
* ½ tsp salt
* ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Toss wedges with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
2. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden.
3. Sauté garlic lightly in a small pan.
4. Toss hot wedges with garlic, Parmesan, and parsley.
5. Serve immediately.

🥣 Garlic Aioli

Ingredients

* ½ cup mayonnaise
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 1 tsp lemon juice
* Pinch of salt

Instructions
Whisk together and chill before serving.

🥓 Cheesy Bacon Wedges

Ingredients

* 4 large potatoes, cut into wedges
* 2 tbsp olive oil
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* ½ tsp paprika
* ½ tsp salt
* ½ tsp black pepper
* ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
* 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

1. Season wedges and bake until nearly done.
2. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bacon.
3. Return to oven for 3–5 minutes until cheese melts.
4. Serve hot.

🥛 Sour Cream Dip

Ingredients

* ½ cup sour cream
* 1 tbsp chopped chives
* ½ tsp garlic powder
* Pinch of salt

Instructions
Mix all ingredients together.

🌶️ Spicy Chili Lime Wedges

Ingredients

* 4 large potatoes, cut into wedges
* 2 tbsp olive oil
* 1 tsp chili powder
* ½ tsp smoked paprika
* ½ tsp cumin powder
* ½ tsp salt
* 1 tbsp lime juice
* Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

1. Toss wedges with oil and dry spices.
2. Bake until crispy and golden.
3. Drizzle with lime juice immediately after baking.
4. Garnish with cilantro and serve.

🌶️ Spicy Yogurt Dip

Ingredients

* ½ cup plain yogurt
* 1 tsp sriracha sauce
* 1 tsp lime juice
* Pinch of salt

Instructions
Mix until creamy and smooth.

4. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden.

* 1 tbsp honey
* 1 tsp Dijon mustard
* Pinch of salt

Instructions
Whisk together until smooth.

🍋🌿 Herb & Lemon Wedges

Ingredients

* 4 large potatoes, cut into wedges
* 2 tbsp olive oil
* 1 tsp dried rosemary
* 1 tsp thyme leaves
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* ½ tsp salt
* ½ tsp black pepper
* Zest of 1 lemon
* 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

1. Toss wedges with oil and herbs.
2. Bake until golden and crisp.
3. Add lemon zest and lemon juice after baking.
4. Toss gently and serve warm.

🌿 Herb Yogurt Dip

Ingredients

* ½ cup plain yogurt
* 1 tsp lemon juice
* 1 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped
* Pinch of salt

Instructions
Mix all ingredients and refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving.

🍄 Creamy Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients

* 2 tbsp butter
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* 250 g mushrooms, sliced
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
* 2 cups vegetable broth
* ½ cup heavy cream
* 1 tsp soy sauce
* Salt and black pepper to taste
* Fresh parsley, chopped

Method

1. Heat butter and olive oil in a pan.
2. Sauté mushrooms until golden brown.
3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
4. Stir in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes.
5. Gradually whisk in vegetable broth.
6. Simmer until thickened.
7. Stir in cream and soy sauce.
8. Season with salt and pepper.
9. Garnish with parsley and serve.

🌶️ Peppercorn Gravy

Ingredients

* 1 tbsp butter
* 1 small onion, finely chopped
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 tbsp whole peppercorns
* 2 tbsp brandy (optional)
* 2 cups beef broth
* ½ cup heavy cream
* Salt to taste

Method

1. Melt butter in a saucepan.
2. Sauté onion until soft.
3. Add garlic and crushed peppercorns.
4. Add brandy and cook for 1 minute (optional).
5. Pour in beef broth and simmer for 10 minutes.
6. Stir in cream and cook until thickened.
7. Season with salt and serve over steak or roast meats.

🍅 Spicy Tomato Gravy

Ingredients

* 2 tbsp oil
* 1 small onion, chopped
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 tsp ginger, grated
* 2 green chilies, slit
* 2 cups tomato puree
* 1 tsp red chili powder
* 1 tsp cumin powder
* ½ tsp sugar
* Salt to taste
* Fresh coriander, chopped

Method

1. Heat oil and sauté onion until golden.
2. Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies.
3. Cook for 1 minute.
4. Add tomato puree and spices.
5. Simmer for 15–20 minutes.
6. Add sugar and salt.
7. Cook until thick and glossy.
8. Garnish with coriander before serving.

🍗 Butter Chicken Gravy

Ingredients

* 2 tbsp butter
* 1 onion, pureed
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 tsp ginger, minced
* 2 cups tomato puree
* 1 tsp garam masala
* 1 tsp red chili powder
* ½ cup heavy cream
* 1 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
* Salt to taste

Method

1. Melt butter in a pan.
2. Cook onion puree until lightly golden.
3. Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute.
4. Add tomato puree and spices.
5. Simmer for 15 minutes.
6. Stir in cream and kasuri methi.
7. Season with salt.
8. Blend if desired for a smoother texture.
9. Add cooked chicken pieces if making butter chicken.

🌿 Coriander Mint Gravy

Ingredients

* 1 cup coriander leaves
* ½ cup mint leaves
* 2 green chilies
* 2 cloves garlic
* 1 inch ginger
* 2 tbsp yogurt
* 1 tbsp oil
* Salt to taste
* ½ cup water

Method

1. Blend coriander, mint, chilies, garlic, ginger, yogurt, and water into a smooth paste.
2. Heat oil in a pan.
3. Add the green paste and cook for 5–7 minutes.
4. Season with salt.
5. Simmer until slightly thickened.
6. Serve with kebabs, paneer, or vegetables.

🧅🧄 Onion Garlic Gravy

Ingredients

* 2 tbsp oil
* 2 large onions, sliced
* 6 cloves garlic
* 1 tbsp ginger, chopped
* 1 tsp cumin seeds
* 2 cups water
* 1 tsp garam masala
* Salt to taste
* Fresh coriander, chopped

Method

1. Heat oil and add cumin seeds.
2. Sauté onions until deeply caramelized.
3. Add garlic and ginger; cook until fragrant.
4. Add water and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Blend into a smooth gravy.
6. Return to the pan and add garam masala and salt.
7. Simmer for 5 minutes.
8. Garnish with coriander and serve.

Ingredients:

For the Watermelon & Feta Bites:

1 small seedless watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes
8 oz high-quality block feta cheese, cut into 3/4-inch squares
24 small fresh mint leaves
24 wooden toothpicks
For the Hot Honey:
1/3 cup raw honey

🐄 Classic Beef Lasagna

Ingredients

Meat Sauce

* 1 lb ground beef
* 1 onion, diced
* 2 garlic cloves, minced
* 24 oz marinara sauce
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* Salt and pepper

Cheese Layer

* 15 oz ricotta cheese
* 1 egg
* ½ cup Parmesan cheese

Assembly

* 9 lasagna noodles
* 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1. Cook noodles according to package directions.
2. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil.
3. Add beef and cook until browned.
4. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer 15 minutes.
5. Mix ricotta, egg, and Parmesan.
6. Layer sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella.
7. Repeat layers.
8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40–45 minutes.
9. Rest 15 minutes before serving.

🍗 Chicken Alfredo Lasagna

Ingredients

* 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
* 2 cups Alfredo sauce
* 9 lasagna noodles
* 15 oz ricotta cheese
* 2 cups mozzarella cheese
* ½ cup Parmesan cheese
* 1 tsp Italian seasoning
* Salt and pepper

Instructions

1. Cook noodles.
2. Mix chicken with Alfredo sauce.
3. Combine ricotta, Parmesan, and seasoning.
4. Layer Alfredo mixture, noodles, ricotta, and mozzarella.
5. Repeat layers.
6. Cover with foil.
7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35 minutes.
8. Remove foil and bake 10 minutes more.

🥬 Vegetable Lasagna

Ingredients

* 1 zucchini, sliced
* 1 red bell pepper, diced
* 2 cups spinach
* 24 oz marinara sauce
* 9 lasagna noodles
* 15 oz ricotta cheese
* 2 cups mozzarella cheese
* ½ cup Parmesan cheese
* 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Sauté zucchini, pepper, and spinach until tender.
2. Cook noodles.
3. Mix ricotta with Parmesan and seasoning.
4. Layer sauce, noodles, vegetables, cheese mixture, and mozzarella.
5. Repeat layers.
6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40 minutes.
7. Rest before serving.

🌿 Spinach & Ricotta Lasagna

Ingredients

* 2 cups chopped spinach
* 15 oz ricotta cheese
* 24 oz marinara sauce
* 9 lasagna noodles
* 2 cups mozzarella cheese
* ½ cup Parmesan cheese
* 1 egg
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* Salt and pepper

Instructions

1. Mix ricotta, spinach, egg, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Cook noodles.
3. Spread sauce in baking dish.
4. Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, sauce, and mozzarella.
5. Repeat layers.
6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40–45 minutes.
7. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.

🧀 Four Cheese Lasagna

Ingredients

* 15 oz ricotta cheese
* 2 cups mozzarella cheese
* 1 cup provolone cheese
* ½ cup Parmesan cheese
* 24 oz marinara sauce
* 9 lasagna noodles
* 1 tsp Italian seasoning
* Salt and pepper

Instructions

1. Combine ricotta, Parmesan, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. Cook noodles.
3. Layer marinara, noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and provolone.
4. Repeat layers.
5. Top with remaining cheese.
6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40 minutes.
7. Broil 2–3 minutes for a golden top.

🍅 Lasagna Bolognese

Ingredients

Bolognese Sauce

* 1 lb ground beef
* 1 onion, diced
* 2 carrots, finely diced
* 2 garlic cloves, minced
* 24 oz Bolognese sauce
* 1 tbsp olive oil

Assembly

* 9 lasagna noodles
* 15 oz ricotta cheese
* 2 cups mozzarella cheese
* ½ cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Sauté onion, carrots, and garlic.
2. Add beef and cook until browned.
3. Stir in Bolognese sauce and simmer 20 minutes.
4. Cook noodles.
5. Layer sauce, noodles, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
6. Repeat layers.
7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes.
8. Rest 15 minutes before serving.

KFC Koolslaai

Bestanddele
1/2 kop kool, fyn gekap
1/2 medium wortel, fyn gekap of gerasper
1/4 koppie mayonnaise
2 eetlepels karringmelk (buttermilk)
4 1/2 teelepels wit asyn
2 eetlepels volroommelk
4 teelepels suiker
Sout en peper, na smaak
Metode
Kap die kool en wortel baie fyn.
Klits die mayonnaise, karringmelk, wit asyn, volroommelk, suiker, sout en peper saam in ’n mengbak.
Voeg die kool en wortel by die slaaisous.
Meng goed totdat alles egalig bedek is.
Bedek en verkoel vir minstens 2 uur sodat die geure goed kan ontwikkel.
Roer weer deur voordat dit bedien word.
Lewer ongeveer 4–6 porsies.

KFC Coleslaw
Ingredients
1/2 cup cabbage, finely chopped
1/2 medium carrot, finely chopped or grated
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons buttermilk
4 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
2 tablespoons whole milk
4 teaspoons sugar
Salt and pepper, to taste
Method
Finely chop the cabbage and carrot.
Whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, white vinegar, whole milk, sugar, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
Add the cabbage and carrot to the dressing.
Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to develop.
Stir again before serving.
Makes approximately 4–6 servings.

🍅🥣 Geroosterde Tamatiesop met Basiliekruid 🥣🍅

Niks klop ’n warm bak tamatiesop saam met geroosterde brood op ’n koue dag nie! Hierdie romerige sop is propvol geur en verrassend maklik om te maak.

📝 Bestanddele:

• 10 tot 12 Roma-tamaties
• 1 groot ui
• 6 tot 8 knoffelhuisies, geskil
• 4 eetlepels olyfolie
• 1 teelepel sout
• 1 teelepel swartpeper
• 1 teelepel oregano
• 1 teelepel Italiaanse kruie
• 2 koppies hoenderaftreksel
• ½ koppie vars basiliekruid
• ⅓ koppie vars room

👩‍🍳 Metode:

1. Sny die tamaties en ui in kwarte.
2. Plaas die tamaties, ui en knoffel op ’n uitgevoerde bakplaat.
3. Sprinkel die olyfolie oor en voeg die sout, peper, oregano en Italiaanse kruie by.
4. Meng goed sodat alles bedek is.
5. Bak teen 190°C vir ongeveer 45 minute.
6. Voeg die hoenderaftreksel en basiliekruid in ’n groot pot en bring tot kookpunt.
7. Voeg die geroosterde groente by en laat vir 2 minute prut.
8. Verwyder van die hitte en verpulp met ’n staafmenger tot glad.
9. Roer die room by.
10. Garneer met vars basiliekruid en bedien met geroosterde brood.

🍅🥣 Roasted Tomato Basil Soup 🥣🍅

Nothing beats a warm bowl of tomato soup with toasted bread on a chilly day! This creamy soup is packed with flavor and incredibly easy to make.

📝 Ingredients:

• 10 to 12 Roma tomatoes
• 1 large onion
• 6 to 8 garlic cloves, peeled
• 4 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon oregano
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• 2 cups chicken stock
• ½ cup fresh basil
• ⅓ cup heavy cream

👩‍🍳 Method:

1. Cut the tomatoes and onion into quarters.
2. Place the tomatoes, onion, and garlic on a lined baking tray.
3. Drizzle with olive oil and add salt, pepper, oregano, and Italian seasoning.
4. Toss well to coat.
5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes.
6. In a large pot, bring the chicken stock and basil to a simmer.
7. Add the roasted vegetables and simmer for 2 minutes.
8. Remove from heat and blend until smooth.
9. Stir in the cream.
10. Garnish with fresh basil and serve with toasted bread.
