Nu-3 Foods Poultry Farm

After a month on the road across three of South Africa’s nine provinces, working alongside remarkable leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs, I returned to the farm - my place of calm, reflection and honest work.

This week, calm gave way to intensity. While the team hosted the first Micro-Mobility CleanTech Accelerator for the Innovator Trust YEP cohort, focusing on self-mastery and purpose.

At the same time, the farm demanded its own discipline, repurposing our hatchery to incubate 16,000 eggs to reduce cost, packing and delivering orders, cleaning floors, serving customers at the Nu-3 Shop and yesterday we received our new Hy-Line Egg Layers with a full day of preparation of their new home.

Entrepreneurship strips away theory. It demands presence, resilience and humility. You cannot advise entrepreneurs without understanding the weight of payroll, customers and daily operations.
