A proud day for dairy in the Eastern Cape

On Thursday, 8 October 2026, the MPO attended the State Visit to Redlands Dairy Farm in Stutterheim, Amahlathi Local Municipality. The farm is supported by the Land Bank, and the visit was led by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The MPO was represented by our CEO, Fanie Ferreira, together with Daan Landman and Zola Gebeda, members of the Transformation Management Committee, and Ronald Rapholo, project manager.

Redlands is an example of what partnership, investment, and commitment to people can do in the dairy sector. It was inspiring to see the growth being built at the farm and to share in a day that put Eastern Cape dairy on the national stage.

Congratulations to Tshilidzi Matshidzula, his wife and the whole Redlands and 360 Infinity Agri team on a memorable occasion. Thank you for having us!

Thank you to all our members, dairy farmers and industry partners who joined us in Underberg. It was a valuable opportunity to share industry updates, reports and strategic direction, while coming together as an industry.

The evening continued with our MPO Survivor Celebration – a chance to celebrate our resilience, reflect on what we’ve overcome and simply enjoy being together again.

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Bismarck du Plessis, for sharing his story of resilience, perseverance and farming.

Stronger together. Moving forward.

Ter nagedagtenis aan Mnr. Christopher Starke

Celebrating the Impact of World Milk Day! 🐄

World Milk Day gave us an opportunity to celebrate the importance of milk and the role it plays in nourishing children, supporting communities and bringing people together.

Through our World Milk Day Sticker Project, we worked together with schools and communities to help ensure that more children and families have access to this essential source of nutrition.

A big thank you to all the schools, learners, farmers, partners and everyone who helped make this project a success.

Together, we can make a big splash!
