What a day to remember at Field Day 2025! 🌞💫

Our tiny but mighty team lived the Flintstones theme to the fullest and brought home some incredible achievements:

🥇 1st in First Aid Competition
🥇 1st in Troop HQ Competition
🥈 2nd in Akela Competition

We are proud of this troop for showing that dedication and teamwork always shine brighter than numbers! ⚜️✨

What a jam-packed weekend of adventure! Our Scouts took on the epic Kontiki competition while our Cubs tackled the exciting Beaver Challenge—and they all did us proud! From learning new skills to making awesome memories, the spirit of Scouting was alive and thriving. Well done to all our young adventurers!

Kontiki 2023 was an enjoyable event for the Troop. It was the first dry Kontiki since 2019. The Scouts persevered through very cold 🥶 conditions and did St Albans proud.

17 Scouts completed their Leatherworker interest badge today. They learnt to cut, carve and stitch leather as well as set eyelets and apply finishing to create their own unique wallets.

Baden-Powell's birthday is the 22nd February and also traditionally the day all members wear their uniforms to school, college, varsity and work to celebrate the birth of the Founder of Scouts or the Friday closest to his birthday.

This year the Pretoria South Cubs, Scouts, Rovers & Scouters will all wear our uniforms on Thursday 22 February.

A letter addressed to school principles requesting permission for Cubs, Scouts and Guides to wear their uniforms to School has been uploaded to the link published on WhatsApp. Please may I request that this be sent to the school to ask permission before Thursday and honour any decision they make.
