ASBESTOS REMOVAL | WHEN SAFETY, TRUST & DEADLINES MATTER!

We recently completed another asbestos ceiling removal project for a valued returning client, covering their Kitchen, Canteens and Tuck Shop.

With a tight operational schedule and the installation of new ceilings needing to commence immediately, our team stepped up to the challenge.

Saturday Ex*****on – Work was scheduled over the weekend to minimise disruption to the client’s operations.

Controlled Asbestos Removal – Our trained team carried out the removal under controlled conditions, with appropriate safety measures and containment procedures.

Independent Air Monitoring – An Approved Inspection Authority (AIA) was on site to conduct routine air monitoring and clearance air sampling, with arrangements for the samples to be counted before our team departed.

Coordinated Project Delivery – Careful planning between our team, the client and the AIA helped minimise delays and facilitate the next phase of ceiling installation, subject to clearance requirements.

ASBESTOS ROOF REMOVAL | POULTRY FARM 🐔

Good progress on another Ecotech Africa (Pty) Ltd asbestos abatement project.

Our team is undertaking the controlled removal of asbestos-containing roof sheeting from poultry houses, with the latest progress showing the roof structure being systematically cleared and prepared for the next phase of the project.

Working at height adds another critical safety element to asbestos roof removal. Our teams combine the required asbestos-control measures with appropriate fall-protection systems and PPE to ensure the work is carried out safely and professionally.

FROM DESIGN TO REALITY — ROSH PINAH, NAMIBIA 🇳🇦

Another major milestone for Ecotech Africa as the mechanical installation of the new heavy-duty vehicle wash bay and water recycling system at Rosh Pinah Zinc nears completion.

With the mechanical equipment taking its final shape, we’re getting ready for the next important phase: commissioning, testing and putting the system to work.

This project has seen Ecotech Africa involved from concept through to operation, including system design, equipment supply, installation support, commissioning and performance testing.

Built for a demanding mining environment, the system has been engineered with one goal in mind: wash effectively, recover water and reuse it.

It’s always rewarding to see months of engineering, manufacturing and planning become a working installation on site.

Asbestos Abatement – 900 m² Completed in 3 Days

Another asbestos abatement project successfully completed by Ecotech Africa.

Our team completed the controlled removal of approximately 900 m² of asbestos-containing roof and ceiling materials in just three days.

From the initial removal through to detailed cleaning, the project required careful coordination, disciplined site management and strict adherence to asbestos health and safety procedures. Following removal, the affected areas were thoroughly cleaned using specialised equipment in preparation for the required clearance process.

The before-and-after photographs speak for themselves — a substantial transformation achieved within a demanding programme.
