The decision to implement the service fee was to create a more stable and sustainable income structure for our waiters while ensuring the business remains compliant with South African Labour laws.

It is a company service fee that helps fund waiters' wages, ensuring that every waiter receives the wage for the hours they work, even during quieter periods when tips alone are insufficient.

This system allows us to guarantee compliance with labour regulations, create more consistent earnings for the waiters, maintain high service standards and ensure the long-term sustainability of the business to continue creating employment.

All our waiters have been instructed to inform customers about it. If you have any further questions or queries, please feel free to speak to any member of our management team.
