Chim & His Chickens

Many of you may not know about our chickens. Yesterday was just one of those days spent on the lands watching the daily motions unfold and realized that it is a skande not to share these everyday, extra-ordinary tales of soil, animals and mense.

Our chickens are all free ranging and most importantly happy. They are housed at night in portable trailer-houses and get moved every few days as the follow behind the cows grazing patterns. They add an incredible amount of nutrients to the soil, and act as a natural fertilizer for our lands.
As a result they produce some of the very best eggs around.
Chim tends to the hens and collects eggs daily which are available from the farm shop and a small selection of outlets.
Every year we try to better our practices, thinking regeneratively, creatively and sensitively around what would work best for our environment and for our community.
