These eggs come from hens that graze the land and regenerate the soil by following behind the cows’ grazing movements.
Not every egg looks the same or is the same size - they are a free ranging spectrum of goodness.

Tannie Marie, an icon of the Karoo, has left us.

Story teller, gardener, melkterk baking, crochet queen. We will miss your voice calling to discuss some sighting you spotted from the stoep, or misheard in passing. Nothing was too big or small to toil over. You embraced everyone and welcomed visitors from far and wide in a Karoo manner that is rare, raw and leaves an everlasting feeling of warmth.
Thank you for sharing your days with us. For teaching us how to see the everyday. You are one of a kind. An icon. A Prince Albert legend. We imagine you united with Oom Piet, he pipe in hand, you knitting next to him, looking over these vast lands. Please keep passing down lessons in simplicity and kindness. RIP Tannie Marie you have lived
