After the terrible storm over the past few days, we experienced heavy rain, flooding, and quite a bit of destruction across the farm.

Clean-up efforts are well underway, and we’re hopeful that the farm will be open again tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who has checked in and offered support during this time.

Most importantly, we hope everyone in the community is safe and doing okay after the storm. 💛

Today we say goodbye to Piet Jacobs, a man who was part of our business for 34 years.

Piet spent most of his years behind the wheel of our truck and in the workshop, always showing up with dedication, reliability, and a strong work ethic. He was a hard-working man who took pride in what he did, and his presence became a steady and valued part of our daily lives.

More than just a colleague, Piet was part of our team and our story. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Piet.

Nectarines and peaches have been coming off the trees in abundance, and it’s great to see full pallets heading off to the Johannesburg market. A big thank you to the team for all the hard work behind the scenes to get this beautiful fruit from our orchards to your tables.
