We have sold more tickets for this Australia/New Zealand tour than we ever have before. Thousands of them.
And somehow, it is still one of the biggest financial gambles we have ever taken.
That is the strange reality of touring now.
It has been eight years since we last brought the full Jeremy Loops show to Australia and New Zealand. Since then, COVID happened, touring costs went through the roof, flights became wildly more complicated, and reaching your own audience online has become harder than ever unless you pay for it.
We are travelling from South Africa with a full band, crew and the gear that makes these shows what they are. We have taken the risk because we know there are people in Auckland, Wellington, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth who have been waiting for us to come back.
Some of these shows are already looking really good. A few of them still need a proper push.
And that is where I need your help.
The algorithm will not necessarily show this to the people who would love these gigs. We don't know every local scene, every WhatsApp group, every South African expat community, or every person who has been listening quietly for years.
But you might.
So please send this to anyone you know in Australia or New Zealand. South Africans abroad, old mates, music lovers, anyone who could come through and make one of these rooms feel alive.
Every ticket changes what is possible for us as an independent South African band trying to build a real international audience. We are coming either way. But with your help, this becomes something we get to keep coming back to.
Let's fill these rooms. 🇿🇦🇳🇿🇦🇺
