Kragdag 2026.🌾

A Day Full of New Experiences!

What an incredible experience it was getting to see some beautiful Chianina cattle up close!

We also had the honour of meeting Francois Maree from RegenRoots, which was definitely one of the highlights of the day.

Of course, Joshuas Poultry and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get a photo with the John Deere tractor😅

The Pretoria Poultry Club was also there with a fantastic selection of birds, making the day even more enjoyable for us poultry enthusiasts.

Overall, it was an amazing day filled with animals, agriculture, poultry, good people and plenty of memories. Definitely an experience we won’t forget.

The future of Brahmaputra Empire is looking brighter than ever.

We simply can't wait to see the chicks from this outstanding mating.

Just look at the incredibly clear, crisp penciling on these hens. This is exactly the type of quality we're striving to build on.

If these birds produce what we believe they can, they'll take our breeding program to the next level and continue improving the Brahmaputra Empire name.

Watch this space... exciting things are coming.

These stunning Partridge Brahma hens are ready for the upcoming breeding season. They'll soon be walking with our imported Blue Partridge Brahma rooster, and we can't wait to see the next generation. Exciting things are on the way!

What an unforgettable week at the SASPO National Championships!😁🤠

I took four birds to the show, and I'm incredibly grateful that all four placed:

🏆 Large Blue Buff Columbian Brahma Hen – 1st Place & Best in Variety
🏆 Buff Columbian Brahma Bantam Cockerel – 1st Place & Best in Variety
🏆 Buff Columbian Brahma Bantam Pullet – 1st Place
🥉 Partridge Brahma Bantam Pullet – 3rd Place

It was a week full of running around, long days, new experiences, and plenty of laughs. One of the highlights was finally meeting friends in person who I've known through the poultry community for so long. This journey has introduced me to some amazing people, and I'm truly grateful for the friendships we've built along the way.

A huge thank you to MHN Exotics & Joshuas Poultry. Without your help this past week would not have been possible. I truly appreciate your support in making this experience a reality.

Now the focus shifts to the breeding season and preparing for next year's National Championships. The goal is to go back bigger, better, and with even stronger birds. Thank you to everyone who continues to support my journey with these incredible Brahma's!

One of our Dark Brahma pairs for the season.😁🤠

The pullet competed against several quality Dark Brahma females and was awarded 🏆 1st Place Best of Variety 🏆 at the Brahma Club of South Africa.

We're excited to see what she contributes to our breeding program alongside the rest of our Dark Brahma females this season.
