Allesverloren Wine Estate Allesverloren Wine Estate has been under the custodianship of the Malan Family for over 150 years. Welcome to Allesverloren with 150 years of Malan's!

Allesverloren is the oldest wine estate in the Swartland, located in Riebeek-West along the slopes of the Kasteelberg. The name, Allesverloren, was registered in 1704 after the farm burnt down and although the name Allesverloren translates to 'all is lost', the Malan-family has indeed enjoyed a happy fate! In 1806 the first Port-styled wine was made on the farm for personal consumption, but the Ma

lan family, who acquired the farm in 1872, was the first to produce wine with the intent to sell. The Malan family still own and manage Allesverloren, with the 5th and 6th generation Malan's working together to ensure that the history remains of importance as the new generation steps in.

Every now and then, a piece of Allesverloren Wine Estate history surfaces🍷. This bottle of Tinta Barocca dates back to 1981 - quietly resting while the years passed and the story of Allesverloren Wine Estate continued to unfold.

For generations, Tinta Barocca has been a defining part of who we are - through changing seasons, countless harvests and generations of winemaking, it has remained a constant thread connecting our past and our present. Forty five years later, still unmistakably Allesverloren Wine Estate.
