There’s something special about arriving to the aroma of freshly baked farm bread...🍞😋

Winter was made for moments like these.
On arrival, every guest is welcomed with freshly baked farm bread and a glass of bubbly before settling in beside the warmth of the fireplace. With its relaxed atmosphere and homely charm, our tasting room feels like a visit to friends on the farm.

It’s the perfect way to spend a slow afternoon in the Robertson Valley this long weekend.

Looking back at Sip & Savour @ The Mountains 🍷

What a special weekend it was at BEULD The Venue. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, great wine and even better company, Sip & Savour was everything we love about sharing wine with people.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Rietvallei stand for a tasting, a chat, or simply to say hello. We loved meeting new faces and catching up with familiar ones.

This weekend, we'll be packing up our wines and heading for the mountains!

We are proud to be part of the very first Sip & Savour @ The Mountains, taking place on 30 & 31 May at the beautiful Beuld The Venue in Robertson.

Join us and 16 other wine farms for a weekend of exceptional wines, delicious winter-inspired food, live entertainment, breathtaking mountain views and family-friendly fun. Your ticket includes wine tastings from all participating estates, so it's the perfect opportunity to discover some of the valley's finest wines in one spectacular setting.

On Saturday evening, enjoy a live performance by Karlien van Jaarsveld, with supporting performances by Chris Rain, Chané and Forest.

With complimentary shuttle services, a dedicated kids' zone, and plenty to see, taste and experience, this promises to be one of the highlights of winter in the Robertson Valley.

The quiet after the storm.

What a beautiful misty morning... It feels like the valley is resting beneath a soft blanket, still and peaceful after a time of chaos and panic.

Moments like these remind us of the strength and beauty of the land we call home.

In the midst of the devastation our valley has faced over the past week, with flood damage, clean-up efforts and heavy hearts across the Robertson area, we never got around to posting about this very special afternoon hosted just before the storm.

And perhaps that makes it even more meaningful now.

At De Kelder Restaurant, guests gathered for a beautiful Rietvallei Sip & Glass Painting experience, hosted by our very own Marion. We had a lovely afternoon with creativity, good wine and wonderful company... a gentle reminder that even during difficult times, there are still moments of connection, beauty and joy worth holding onto.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Marion for hosting such a lovely event. 🍷🎨
