Chardonnay has a special place in Rietvallei’s history. It was the first white cultivar planted on the estate, beginning a story that has continued through generations of the Burger family.

This October, our Chardonnay 2026 is W**e of the Month. Enjoy 10% off while stocks last.

A w**e with roots in our past, and still very much part of Rietvallei today.

This Heritage Day, we are especially grateful. 🇿🇦

After the winter floods, parts of the vineyard needed time, care and attention. Today, seeing new growth return is a reminder of why looking after this land matters so much.

The Burger family has farmed at Rietvallei since 1864. Six generations later, the responsibility remains the same: to care for what has been entrusted to us and to leave it in good hands for those who come next.

We are grateful for the land, for the people who work it, and for another season taking shape at Rietvallei.

Happy Heritage Day. 🇿🇦

There are moments worth raising a glass to. This is one of them.

Our Rietvallei Sauvignon Blanc 2026 has been named a finalist in the 2026 FNB Sauvignon Blanc SA Top 10, making it one of just 20 w**es selected from 159 entries across 95 producers.

This recognition is a proud reflection of the vineyards, the vintage and the work that goes into our Sauvignon Blanc from vine to bottle.

The final Top 10 will be announced on 14 October.

Until then, we’ll allow ourselves a small celebration. 🥂
