Today, with hearts full of gratitude to God, I celebrate a truly extraordinary woman as she marks her 75th Birthday—my beloved mother,mentor, and matriarch, a grandmother to my son and cousins

Mummy, your life is a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness. For seventy-five years, the Lord has preserved you, strengthened you, and used you as a blessing to countless lives. You have walked with dignity, nurtured your family with love, and demonstrated unwavering faith in Christ through every season of life.

In Yoruba culture, we say, “Iya ni wura, baba ni jigi”—a mother is gold, a father is a mirror. You are indeed pure gold to us: precious, invaluable, and radiant in wisdom and character. Your prayers have been our covering, your counsel our compass, and your sacrifices the foundation upon which many destinies have been built.

At 75, you are a living fulfilment of God’s promise:

“With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation” (Psalm 91:16).
