Quality Control Officer Food Manufacturing
Location: St Helena Bay, West Coast
Salary: R8 000 to R17,000 per month CTC (aligned to experience).
We are looking for a Quality Control Officer to join our factory team and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
In this role, you'll be hands-on with in-process checks, GMP inspections, hygiene monitoring, and documentation control, while supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in keeping the site audit-ready.
Job duties:
• Performing in-process and end-of-line checks (weights, coding, labels, sensory).
• Assisting with GMP, sanitation verification, allergen control, and hygiene monitoring.
• Recording and maintaining HACCP records and quality documentation.
• Implementing new food safety procedures.
• Supporting audits, non-conformance follow-up, and staff compliance. training.
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in food manufacturing – at least 3 years.
• Basic understanding and implementation of GMP and HACCP.
• Detail-focused, organised, and confident with Excel.
• Communication Skills
• Willing to be hands-on on the factory floor.
