A moment I will never forget.
Three of my artworks were auctioned in Durban to support education for my family’s children in Gaza. Seeing my paintings displayed at such a special event filled me with pride and emotion.

Three years since the beginning of this cursed war

Three years of loss, displacement, fear, and trying to survive one day at a time.

For Israa, the war took her home and 18 members of her family in one massacre — her grandparents, uncles, aunts, and their children.

But even through this pain, one thing never changed: the responsibility to keep trying to support the family left behind.

That is where SAMA’s story comes from.

Not from comfort.
Not from opportunity.
But from loss, responsibility, love, and the hope of giving our family even a small part of a dignified life.

To everyone in South Africa who has supported us, bought from us, shared our story, or simply stood with Palestine — **thank you.**

Your support has meant more than a sale.
It has helped us keep going.
