Surface water can be a challenging source, with changing water quality requiring treatment that adapts and performs consistently.

For this estate, we designed and installed a fully integrated surface water treatment system that takes water from the dam and produces up to 15,000 litres of drinking water per hour.

The system combines clarification and advanced ultrafiltration, with intelligent automation and live monitoring giving the team clear visibility of performance and day-to-day operation.

Now, the system is running smoothly and reliably, supplying treated water across the estate.

💧 From challenging influent to clear results.

We set out to treat a complex combination of industrial wastewater and domestic sewage for a large operation at a macadamia packhouse.

The project brought some unforeseen challenges, with influent conditions significantly exceeding the original design parameters. We were immediately alerted through our online monitoring platform, allowing us to respond quickly.

Working closely with the client, we adapted the approach as the project evolved, troubleshooting, monitoring the system day and night, refining the process and staying focused on achieving the best possible treatment result.

Today, the system is running well at 50 m³/day, with some impressive results:

>95% COD & BOD reduction
>35% NH₄ reduction
>95% FOG reduction
Zero suspended solids
Zero microbiological counts
